The central location of the eclectic Midtown venue is a good fit for us and will insure that the league and individual teams have practice times Monday through Thursday year round. We will also have a retail store in Midtown which we will sell event tickets, merchandise, roller skates, and gear,” said Jamie Olsen, president of the Renegade Rollergirls.
Printed information will be available for those interested in joining the league, sponsorships, and volunteer positions.

ABOUT: The Renegade Rollergirls are an eclectic group of ambitious, rough and tumble women spanning age, economic and racial boundaries while fostering our unified goal of entertaining Bend with extreme roller derby athletics. The Renegade Rollergirls teams, Bourbon Street Brawlers, Radar Lovers, Skull Rollers and Wicked Pussycats, played to sell out crowds in their 2006 inaugural season and turned away over 250 spectators each bout. The bouts are played at the Central Oregon Indoor Sports Center located at Empire and High Desert Lane.
Our Renegade predecessors in Arizona formed their league in the summer of 2004 from a group of the top skaters in Arizona. The league prides itself on high ethical procedures, organizational structure, and all-around skater well being. Along with the Arizona league and a second sister league in San Diego, we wish to pursue the same goals and visions of reviving the sport of roller derby. Anytime, any place, any surface. No holds barred, the Renegade Style of Roller Derby.
